Quaffers of Quaich

Quaffers of Quaich is a monthly wine tasting club that Heather runs in Horsley, Surrey.

Each month she chooses a different region or theme to highlight and selects delicious wines to taste. Guests are welcomed with a glass of fizz, then go on to taste 6 further wines, accompanied by high quality cheeses and charcuterie and Heather's enlightening and entertaining words.

Tastings take place at Quaich café in Horsley on the third Thursday of the month, starting at 7.30pm and finishing at 9.30pm.

Tastings cost £35 per head for non-members. These tastings have been very popular and Heather isn't able to accept new members currently, but people are very welcome to attend as non-members, when space permits.

Heather hosted her first fine wine tasting in July 2026, focusing on Champagne. There will be more of these events too, on an ad hoc basis, so please sign up to be kept in the loop for all things wine.

Upcoming tastings:

  • Thursday 17 September 2026 - dive into Portugal

  • Thursday 15 October 2026 - the world of Grenache/Garnacha
