Wine tasting events as charity fundraisers

If you have a favourite charity or have some involvement with a charity group, a wine tasting could prove an effective fundraising tool for you.  We have considerable experience in running events of this kind and can help you design an event that will appeal to the attendees - as well as raising funds for your charity.

The tasting itself is a great way to attract people along in the first place - and once there you can find all sorts of ways of getting people to part with their money in a good cause. 

  • Charge an entry fee for people to come along
  • Think about including a blind tasting competition which people pay to enter with wine as the prize for the winner
  • Run a "guess the price" competition for a bottle of wine tasted blind - the winner gets a bottle of the wine in question
  • Run an auction for donated bottles of wine

And there must be plenty more ideas that you can come up with.

What will it cost me?

As a charity event organizer, you may well be able to get a friendly local wine merchant to supply the wines to you free or at a reduced rate.  Therefore, the charge from Red White & Rosé would be a flat fee of £150.  If you'd also like us to supply the wines, then we do that at cost, just passing the cost through to you.
